The sister of le Thom Collines, this is a lovely light variation on the classic cocktail with a hint of Provence. Feel free to experiment with botanical/infused vodkas or gins.
Lavender martini
Chill 2 martini glasses.
At room temperature:
4 oz vodka
4 tblsp les collines Lavender Jelly (you can start with 3 tblsp or less and work up to taste, but 1 tblsp to 1 oz is the ratio we liked best)
Whisk together for about 30 seconds.
Pour into a shaker full of ice, shake well for another 30 seconds; strain into chilled glasses. Garnish with a lemon twist. Pair with Marcona almonds.
May also be served in highballs and topped with seltzer or tonic.
Mocktini: Replace vodka with lemonade or a flavored water of your choice and top with seltzer.
